If you haven’t already done so, it is time to update your WordPress software. Version 4.1 of WordPress, named “Dinah” in honor of jazz singer Dinah Washington, is now available for download or update in your WordPress dashboard. There are several new features in this WordPress release that are excellent for blogs and bloggers as well as RVA small business owners.
The blog software update focuses on your writing, and there is a new default theme that lets you show off your work in style; new theme Twenty Fifteen. In addition to that, Twenty Fifteen has extensive language support, with help from Google’s Noto font family. This feature allows the typography to be readable on any screen size, which is of growing importance for all websites given the rapid growth of mobile technology. Your content will respond accordingly whether viewed on a mobile phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer.
