The next Richmond SCORE Business Workshop is Friday, August 11, 2017. This Small Business Workshop is designed to help new business owners and entrepreneurs within the Richmond, Virginia area (#RVA) gain a solid understanding of the critical issues and actions necessary to get your business up and running.
This workshop program is made available through SCORE-Richmond in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA); How to Start Your Own Small Business. Greg Magnus of AIM Custom Media will present on Website Design and Marketing. In addition, he’ll also provide tips on content marketing and advocacy marketing during the presentation which is critical to the successful marketing of your business.
How to Start Your Own Small Business Workshop
This is a full day interactive small business start-up workshop presented by SCORE. Local small business owners/experts discuss start-up basics: legal, bookkeeping, insurance, funding, Internet marketing, business plan and more. Includes takeaway workbook, peer networking and free follow-up coaching from experienced SCORE mentors. The workshop is a lecture and open discussion format with peer entrepreneurs where you will learn a lot about launching a small business such as:

- Step-by-Step Guide to Starting a Business
- Website Design Strategies
- Choosing the Legal Structure That’s Right For You
