  • I have noticed on our energy news and environment blog that the number of visitors using mobile devices just keeps increasing. In my experience, the integration of YouTube is friendlier on smart phones than Facebook.

Facebook seems to be a bandwidth/memory hog fraught with too many annoying notices, updates, and controls WRT the content being displayed to the user. With the growing number of Andriod phones on the market, YouTube appears to have the edge.

  • Google also is pushing forward on the mobile front with tools to help website owners gain traction on all devices. For example, you can learn how to, “Make Your Website Work Across Multiple Devices” by visiting Google here: https://www.google.com/think/multiscreen/?hl=en

Excerpt from the article at the link above:
“Build a website that showcases your business on every screen from smartphones and tablets to computers and TVs. Your customers expect a great browsing experience regardless of what device they use.”
